Design is the physical manifestation of data we already have. Interpreting that data is where my true desire for design lies. My ultimate goal is to materialize this product and use data to better the lives of injured runners ad other’s that may struggle from physical impediments

This product is a holistic system aimed at extending a runner's career and aiding injury self-correction by continuously transmitting real-time data to healthcare professionals.

Utilizing a sock-based approach, it offers cost-effective injury prevention distinct from traditional running shoes, with unique capabilities for collecting continuous,
location-specific pressure data, enhancing overall well-being.

The problem identified by this study is the impact of frequent transitions between minimal and maximal footwear on pressure localization and its potential consequences for the accuracy and strength of sensory information transmitted to the brain.

...with the intersection of cushioned footwear, the quality of information the central nervous system is not as specific, which can lead to a worn-down running experience.

The problem is when there is a swift change between a cushioned and minimal running shoe, in conjunction with lifestyle shoes a runner’s foot may weaken, causing short and long-term damage to a runner’s body and mental health.
